I am Tashi Dendup, originally from the eastern part of Bhutan, and I relocated to Samtse in the winter of 1999. I taught in schools for seven years before taking a swerve in early 2020. I now live and work in Canberra, Australia.
I enjoy curling up in a quiet corner with a good book whenever time permits. Though I am selective about what I read, I am always open to trying something new. That said, I am particularly fond of classic literature as most literature students tend to be. I am especially drawn to the works of Kahlil Gibran (The Prophet and others) and Rabindranath Tagore (Gitanjali), whose writings continue to inspire me.
From time to time, I scribble, mostly to stay grounded and sane amidst the chaos of everyday life. I am also a keen hobbyist in landscape photography.
